WebMay 13, 2024 · Recently, accumulating evidence suggests that lipid metabolism alteration is closely related to drug resistance in tumor. Targeting lipid metabolism in combination with traditional chemotherapeutic drugs is a promising strategy to overcome drug resistance. WebWe used bioinformatic analysis and examined changes in lipid metabolism in HCC cells in response to matrix stiffness. Moreover, ACADL was identified as a key enzyme, initiating the FAO process, modulated by matrix stiffness. Lipid metabolic reprogramming influenced by matrix stiffness was interacted in an ACADL-dependent mechanoresponsive manner.
