WebNov 4, 2012 · Cymbalta did have a significant impact on my weight; Although, I do have to say it worked the best for my anxiety/ mild depression / OCD. Nothing has worked quite as well. I gained 40 pounds over the course of 1.5 years, but when taken off of Cymbalta and placed on 20mg of Celexa, I lost 12 lbs in the 1st 3 weeks.
